Magic Mike baby!

Now, this website is very much about making your life easier with cost friendly ideas that you can do yourself. But how about making your life better? Well, I went to Magic Mike Live last night and I can certainly say it did that (I am prioritising six packs more highly in my life moving forward!). Oh, and to stay relevant, it’s a great hen do activity.

I don’t want to give too much away as there are some wonderful surprises in store for you if you go, but I will say that it is a very female positive event. Held at The Hippodrome in London, the show is around an hour long and consists of seriously sexy guys throwing some amazing shapes to some epic bangers. There are a range of seating options available and the prices reflect that. I will say that the more interactive you want to be, if you get my drift, the closer to the front you should sit. Having said that, you still get a great view at the very back (where I was sitting) and the chance for a bit of interaction of your own. And don’t worry, there’s the option to not get involved at all (although I would recommend it, the guys smell gorgeous).

If you want to make a night of it, here’s what me and the girls did. We headed to All Bar One in Leicester Square first for nibbles and cocktails (there are often 2 for 1 cocktail and tapas deals if you go early in the week). We then headed to the Boozy Tea Rooms in The Hippodrome afterwards. Warning, you are in tourist central so wherever you go, make sure you book a table in advance.
